There is a heat wave projected this week from Tuesday through Thursday, attributed to elevated temperatures and humidity levels. ‘Feels-like temperatures’ are forecasted to vary between 95°F and 104°F in the valleys and certain higher elevations.
Rensselaer County has provided a list of cooling centers. You can find the spreadsheet here. Keep in mind some are closed for the holiday on June 19, 2024.
